Low Back Pain: A Quick Tip for Improving Restful Sleep

Hello!

Are you experiencing low back pain? Is your back pain keeping you awake at night or just not able to get comfortable? Are you waking up throughout the night or cannot seem to get restful sleep?

Well, you are not alone! Low back pain a common ailment that can be debilitating and persistent.  A common finding, I hear from my patients, as a physical therapist, is their low back pain keeps them awake at night or they just cannot get comfortable. Being active creatures, our bodies are always moving or positioned in various ways throughout the day until we settle down to sleep, that is usually the time our brain starts to focus on our body and pain.

I want to share with you a couple of sleep positions that may be beneficial and help decrease some of the stress on your lower back:
